About the Role

Óleos do Sul is seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Industrial Electrician with strong leadership and management capabilities to join our team at the manufacturing plant in Maxixe.

The ideal candidate will oversee electrical operations, manage plant maintenance, supervise team activities, handle material procurement for electrical works, and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Operations: Direct, perform, and oversee preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across all industrial machinery and plant infrastructure.
• Supervision & Management: Lead and guide technical personnel, manage daily shift schedules, and ensure operational workflow efficiency.
• Procurement & Inventory: Plan, order, and control electrical spare parts, tools, and materials required for maintenance and projects.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electrical faults, PLC systems, control panels, high/low voltage systems, and motor drives to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce industrial safety standards (HSE), local electrical regulations, and plant protocols at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Nationality: Mozambican national (Mandatory).
• Experience: Extensive proven experience in industrial electrical systems, with demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience.
• Education: Formal technical qualification, diploma, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or a closely related field.
• Languages: Proficiency in spoken and written English and Portuguese is required.
• Skills: Strong leadership, technical problem-solving, material ordering/inventory tracking, and communication skills.
